Crispus Attucks ’56 Championship Trophy

Perfect Season

In the afterglow of the first championship win ever for an all-black team, the Attucks team rallied in 1956 to score another undefeated season. This success would put in the books the team’s second consecutive championship win, and the first in Indiana history to notch a season with no losses

Winning Tradition

This would also be the second championship win in a row for then-coach Ray Crowe, who went on to coach the team for a total of six
